Hello and welcome! I'm Sam Rhodes, founder of Bewitching Gifts, an independent online gift shop based in the beautiful market town of Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.

Bewitching Gifts was founded in September 2025, but my journey into small business began much earlier. For over ten years, I owned and ran Divot Diva, a successful women's golf accessory brand. Like many independent businesses, the pandemic brought unexpected challenges to the golf industry, and I made the difficult decision to sell the business and begin a new chapter.

Creativity has always been at the heart of everything I do. With a lifelong love of crochet, crafting and discovering unique treasures, I created Bewitching Gifts to share beautiful handmade creations alongside carefully sourced gifts that you won't find on the high street.
​
Today, you'll find a growing collection of handmade gifts, crochet kits, crochet and knitting accessories, yarn tools, gift-ready presents, and seasonal decorations.
Many of my designs are inspired by the people and places closest to me—my family, wonderful friends, my black cat, Pepper is the mascot for Bewitching Gifts and, of course, my mischievous pup Jack, who often keeps me company while I crochet and pack your orders.

Although Bewitching Gifts is an online business, you'll also find me throughout the year at local artisan markets and craft fairs across North Yorkshire. Meeting customers in person, sharing my latest creations and chatting with fellow crafters is one of my favourite parts of running the business. Alongside Bewitching Gifts, I also work full-time, so every order you place represents evenings, weekends and a genuine passion for creating something special.

Every item is carefully packaged and presented with the same care and attention that went into making or selecting it, because I believe receiving a gift should feel just as special as giving one.
